Okay.....I realize that when civilians hang flags on their cars and houses they really mean well, but some of you worthless fucks need a lesson on how it is done.
Everyone knows that when you hang a flag horizontally the stars should be on your left when you're facing the flag.
A lot of people seem to think that when hanging a flag vertically the stars go on the right. NO GODDAMMIT!!!
The stars are always on the left, regardless of which way the flag is hung.
Another thing most people don't realize is that all these cute flags you see at Wal-Mart with the fuckin eagle picture embroidered over the stripes, or pics of a fuckin harley or some gay shit like that is completely inappropriate. Not only is it fucked up, it's a felony. Federal law says that nothing can be put over the nation's colors. Obviously the FBI isn't gonna come kickin your door in if you have one of those flags up, but take that shit down people. It's extremely disrespectful to your country's flag.
And all you fucking ex-Marines who like to hang the Marine flag above the national colors on your little fuckin flag posts out front your house need to be shot. You guys know better. Nothing goes above the American flag on a flag staff, and you worthless fucks know it. I know your proud of the Marine Corps and all that shit, but swallow your fucking pride and show some respect for your country.
Okay.....last thing. All you idiots who have flags flying that look like they've been through every major war the US has ever taken part in, get rid of that shit!!! Take it down, fold it up and burn it. It's very disrespectful and very illegal to fly an unserviceable flag. And don't throw them away. The only proper way to dispose of flags that are no longer useable is to fold them up and burn them. If I see one more flag in a trash can outside someone's house I'm gonna go fucking postal.
It's good you guys try to show a little patriotism, even if it is just because it's a trend at the time such as the month or so after 9/11, but if you're gonna do it do it right.
