Every single day on every single outlet of mainstream media, the American public hears about the lack of progress in Iraq. The growing number of casualties, the delays in the drafting of the constitution. NY and LA Times OpEds poison our minds with claims that our efforts are fruitless and that the only option is an immediate withdrawal. For those of you sick of all the bullshit, here is what the left-wing media chooses not to tell you.

1. Number of Iraqi schools rebuilt and refurbished, 3,211.
2. Number of waterworks projects completed to provide clean water to Iraqi citizens, 114. 84 are still in the works.
3. According to the World Bank, Iraq's gross domestic product has increased from $12.1 billion in 2003 to $21.1 billion in 2004
4. Number of Iraqi's who now have internet access in their homes, 147,076. Before the fall of Saddam access to Internet and satellite TV was not permitted to the general public.
5. Number of Iraqi security personnel last January, 125,373. Number now, 175,700.
6. Number of independent radio stations now operating in Iraq, 80.
7. Number of independent magazines and newspapers, 170.
8. 7 out of 40 of Baghdad's top minesterial positions are now held by women.
9. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Iraq estimates that the $8.2 million project to refurbish and renovate the Najaf Maternity Hospital will be finished by December 25.

....Just a small list of what the left doesn't want to admit, and what some of the most extreme left-wing elite would claim are outright lies. Further improvements and the source for all of the info listed can be found at http://usinfo.state.gov
