I just saw Farenheit 9/11 a few hours ago.
Wow, I am so far beyond ashamed to call myself an American right now. Not because of the points brought up in the movie (some of which I must admit were quite valid), but because 99% of Americans are going to be dumb enough to eat this crap up.
This movie is not a documentary. It is nothing more than Democrat propaganda. Granted, there are quite a few good points made in the film, but suggesting that our president was somehow involved in the 9/11 attacks is absolutely insane.
And who the fuck does Michael Moore think he is to portray soldiers the way he did in his film? Every scene from Iraq was either making soldiers look like barbarians or showing civilians who were hit by bombs.
Was there a single second of film showing the thousands of people parading the streets to thank us for ridding them of Saddam? Where are the shots of the Iraqi people hugging us and kissing our feet and inviting us into their homes?
Not there of course, because Mr. Moore doesn't want you to see any of that. He doesn't want you to see the kids who can go to a school where they won't be taught that they will be killed if they so much as say a bad word about Saddam. He doesn't want you to see the Iraqi people having an uncenscored media and access to the Internet which they were denied before. He doesn't want you to see the smiles on kids faces when we brought them clothing and food and clean water.
This movie is not meant to open America's eyes, it is simply meant to turn them in another direction.
While Mr. Moore brings up some very good points about the Bush/Gore election, he ruins what little significant research he put into this project by making the rest of the film nothing more than a shitload of Bush bashing.
Michael Moore is a disgrace to free press. He insults the intelligence of all Americans by assuming that every one of us is dumb enough to not see through this sorry excuse for a documentary. He disgraces all soldiers by ommiting any film from his movie of what is really happening in Iraq.
If any of you are going to waste your money to see this film, please be smart enough to see through it.
